Much like their previous models, the M912 and T1028, the Gigabyte T1000 is Gigabyte's third generation tablet that capitalizes on the great features of their previous models and introduces some new and exciting ones. The T1000 is one of the first tablet devices to feature the new Intel Atom “Pine Trail” N450 CPU to provide a more immersive web experience, along with an option for multi-touch capabilities to make your navigation experience more intuitive.
The full 1366x768 resolution 10.1" touch screen provides ample room to view web pages and documents without having to scroll constantly. The screen is supported by the updated Intel GMA 3150 graphics chipset to enhance video playback, and the 250GB hard drive lets you store plenty of movies and music, making sure you’re never without media to entertain you on those long plane rides.
The Gigabyte T1000 is also an excellent choice for users who want flexibility in a mobile netbook/tablet. The RAM is upgradeable to 2GB max and easily accessible, and it is also 3G ready with an antenna built right into the chassis (Please note: 3G module is not included). Simply open the easy-access door on the bottom, insert a 3G module into the appropriate slot and install the manufacturer’s connection software and you’ll have an even more powerful always-connected tablet netbook.
Further added flexibility comes from also from 2x USB 2.0 ports, along with an eSATA/USB combo port, audio in/out, VGA Out, and an integrated ExpressCard slot. A 1.3-megapixel webcam and WiFi N capabilities let you videoconference at home or on the go; and the 4 and 6 cell batteries for each respective model provide plenty of life for your average workday.
